Leading enterprise integration and automation platform that helps businesses connect applications, automate workflows, and improve productivity with AI-driven tools. We're scaling our AI function and looking for a technical leader to build and grow our Data Science and Machine Learning team.

We’re looking for a Head of ML\DS - a strategic leadership role responsible for growing and managing the DS/ML function for AI products built on LLMs. The role combines AI engineering, classical ML, and technical management.

Role in the Organization

• Lead the ML/DS department (2 now, 10–20 planned), working alongside AI Engineering.
• Operate in a matrix with AI engineering, infrastructure and analytics.
• Collaborate with teams across the US, Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning

• Create a development plan for the team and function.
• Define the ML/DS roadmap, backlog and key milestones.
• Align hiring plan with growth needs.
• Ensure coordination with AI Engineering, Infrastructure, Data Infra and CISO.
• Establish how ML/DS contributes to major strategic company initiatives (metadata extraction, semantic lake, business metrics prediction).

2. Team Leadership

• Full authority over hiring, termination, evaluation, and goal‑setting.
• Act as a hands-on leader early on, maintaining regular syncs with management.

3. Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of LLMs/SLMs, fine‑tuning, RL, provider differences (OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, Google), and open‑weight models (Llama4, Qwen3).
• Work with synthetic data, PII cleanup, dataset preparation, pipelines, and infra.
• Use advanced methods: temporal prediction, GNNs, transformer-based time series.
